Visit York Membership Scheme
Visit York currently works with in excess of 580 members in and around York. Membership is open to any business with an interest in tourism and members are drawn from a wide range of sectors including accommodation, restaurants, retail, attractions and businesses not directly linked to tourism.
As a member of Visit York you will have access to an extensive range of services and benefits to promote your business. We listen to members’ views and are constantly developing the services we offer to help members make a success of their business whatever and wherever it is.
Visit York membership benefits include:
- A descriptive feature on www.visityork.org including copy and images. The website is the official visitor’s website for York and currently generates 235,000 unique users per month.
- Promotion or leaflet racking at the two York Visitor Information Centres. Our Visitor Information Centres have an annual footfall of over one million people.
- The opportunity to advertise in various Visit York publications e.g. the Mini Guide, Visitor Guide and What’s On.
- The opportunity to be involved in the York Pass scheme
- Enter job vacancies for free on www.jobsinyork.com
- The opportunity to work with our Conference Desk and Groups Desk
